What students learn
Students learn a wide range of subjects in the NSW curriculum. They build skills, think creatively and prepare for life beyond school.
At Adelong Public School, students have the opportunity to participate in Special Religious Education (SRE). These classes are delivered by an approved provider.
At this school, one SRE option is available. On enrolment, parents and carers are asked to indicate whether their child will participate in SRE or not participate in SRE. Students who do not participate in SRE take part in supervised alternative meaningful learning activities focused on Values Education.
Parents and carers may change their child’s participation choice at any time by notifying the school in writing to the front office.

At Adelong Public School, SRE classes are delivered on Tuesdays at the following times:
- Years 3–6: 2:00 pm
- Kindergarten–Year 2: 2:30 pm
