This term 2/3/4 are learning about the Australian Continent in Geography and how to write an informative text in writing. After reading "Where the Forest Meets the Sea" by Jeannie Baker and viewing a video about cassowaries we created some colourful collages of cassowaries in the Daintree Rainforest. We used a variety of different media types such as paint, fabric, tissue paper, crepe paper and printer paper. Don't they look terrific!
